Comfy shoes were crucial for all the walking we did in NYC!!  I did change into some boots later in the day for an event though. 🙂

Hi everyone!  I wanted to post one of the days from when my family and I were in NYC last week.   After all, what better place to take blog pictures than this lovely city!  Everywhere you turn is an aesthetically pleasing view whether it be the architecture, culture or overall ambiance of the city that never sleeps!  (Thanks to my wonderful mom for taking all these pics!!)  We went sight seeing during the day, which included the Brooklyn Bridge where there are absolutely amazing views of Manhattan (seen in the pics above)- truly breathtaking!  The weekend we were there also happened to be the weekend that Simply Stylist was having their event in New York.  Once I found out this was going on the same weekend I jumped all over it.  For those of you that don’t know what Simply Stylist is, it’s a networking event that brings together like minded people that love the fashion and beauty industry!  Such a cool concept.  I wish I had the time to go to some of the panels, but it was just neat to go around to the different booths and meet some entreprenuers and marketing professionals in the fashion and beauty industry as well as some fellow bloggers.

I just LOVE this city and can’t wait to go back!  More outfit posts to come from my trip to NYC on the blog soon.  ❤

I started this blog with love for style and fashion as those two things are forever on my mind! My love for journalism started in high school where I was an editor of the editorial page of our newspaper and continued through college where I majored in it with more of an emphasis in Communication/Advertising and PR. Ever since I got my first piece of Tiffany's jewelry on Rodeo Drive in the 5th grade, I knew I had a new found love for fashion and designers. It wasn't until a couple years ago that a job I held lead me to the love of fashion blogs. I was given the opportunity to find and recruit fashion and beauty bloggers for a style app and instantly felt inspired by these people and thought, why can't I do that? And here I am! I hope you find my blog just as inspiring. <3
