Hi Lovlies! Today I’m sharing my travel style as well as reviewing our hotel we stayed at on our trip to Miami Beach last week!
When traveling I definitely like to be comfy but cute and practical at the same time! I think layers are a must, especially when traveling from one climate to another – I’m almost ALWAY’S cold on a plane too so i usually alway’s at least bring a sweatshirt or some sort of long sleeve to layer with. When i saw this sweatshirt I’m wearing above at Nordstrom online I knew i had to have it for this trip and trips in general! It was on sale which was a plus, and unfortunately no longer have it. No worries though, b/c I linked some similar cute sweatshirts/tee’s above under outfit details that would be perfect for traveling or for those casual days! I almost alway’s wear yoga pants opposed to anything else as well – again, I like COMFY! The other must for me is to have my LV tote bag along with me. It works as the perfect “carry on” as it fits quite a bit – at least all the necessities!
Now on to where we stayed once we got to Miami! I thought I’d do a little review on where we stayed, b/c I mean, just look at the cuteness of it in the pics above! We stayed at a South Beach Group Hotel called Oceanside Hotel.
First off, the staff were all really nice. The aesthetic of the hotel is great as it’s very up to date, clean and modern! The rooms are more like small apartments as it has a mini kitchen in it, bathroom (with two sinks – a total plus) and door that closes to a bedroom. I was super excited the bedroom had a floor mirror – ya know for those OOTD’s like the one I took above! 🙂
We loved the restaurant attached to the hotel called The Tavern. They have all kinds of different food on their menu so it’s not hard to find something you and everyone you’re with will like. We went for breakfast and dinner there one day! Super convenient! AND it’s open 24/7!? If you’re staying at the hotel they even give you a free drink from 7-8pm!
The best part is that the beach is just a short walk away! The hotel has a small, cute pool – but who cares when the beach is so close! 🙂
