Favorite Casual Go to’s

I recently got back from a mini visit back to one of my happy places (and second home), Phoenix.  It was super nice and in the 80’s the first couple days.  One reason I love Phoenix is the comfortable weather (obvi), which also leads me to the point of this post!  I LOVE comfy/casual wear and a good t-shirt and jeans (or shorts) so I thought I’d share some of my most recent favorite comfy/casual go to pieces I found while in Phoenix!  Besides the comfortable sunny and dry weather, I especially miss the shopping (mainly Scottsdale Fashion Square, Nordstrom & all the Nordstrom Racks I used to go to almost every weekend when I lived out there)! Ha!

I’ve been loving the cross front shirt trend.  I own a few.  The one I’m wearing in this post was only $30!  Can’t beat that!  They are a nice twist to an otherwise, basic tee!

I also picked up these cute and casual slip on shoes.  They are comfy but also chic at the same time.  What I like about these particular ones is that they are light weight.   I’ve owned a pair before that I didn’t care as much for because of the bulkiness.

Love You a Latte!

It’s loooove month, so why not a post with this fun “love you a latte” shirt!  Such a cute and clever little saying, I must say!  🙂 I actually received this shirt as a Christmas gift and what better time to wear it than now.  Thought I’d share a few pics on how I styled it!

(P.S. It snowed today and I’m SO ready for some nicer weather – going on a mini vacation to one of my happy places tomorrow and couldn’t be happier for some sun shine and palm trees!  It’s been too long!  Follow along with me on instagram @lattesnleather)

Hello lovlies!  It’s been a bit since I’ve posted.  I wanted to talk to you about these cute little boxes of jewelry called Rocksbox!  Not only do I love getting jewelry every month straight to my mailbox (who wouldn’t), but it’s a great way to try out different jewelry that you might not otherwise buy for yourself and for only $20 a month!  What’s even better is there is a month free code for all my readers! Woohoo!  The code is lattesandleatherxoxo 🙂

Here’s how the process works:

  • Go to
  • Create a Style Profile (this will help your stylists pick out jewelry that fit your style)
  • Create a wish list of jewelry you’d like to receive – there are tons of fun/popular brands to choose from (another reason I love these)

And that’s it! Then you wait until your pretty little box comes to you!  Once you get your pieces you can then choose to keep (buy) a piece or all the pieces OR send them back for new pieces.

Hope you enjoyed! 🙂 Don’t forget to use the code above for a free month!  I promise you will LOVE.

Compass Brand

Hi all!  How fun is this tank?!  Perfect for summer in many ways.  I love their whole concept and outlook on life in general!  Compass Brand is “The Weekend Brand,” and all about the path to fun!  Not only is that what summer is about but what life is all about, right?  They have hats, tees and tanks for both men and women.  I recently moved back to my hometown, Omaha, NE, so of course I couldn’t help but support a friend of mines local brand!  Go check them out here!  If you’re in the Omaha area, they will also be selling them in local boutiques so stay tuned. Make sure and keep up with them on Instagram @compassbrand!

Of course, as alway’s, thanks for stopping by!! ❤

Off the Shoulder

Top/Nordstrom Rack // Shorts/Black Orchid // Crossbody/Chloe // Sandals/Tory Burch(last season, love and had to recently get these) // Sunnies/Celine

Hi there!  I meant to get this post up this past weekend but didn’t get to it.  The Pat’s Run in Tempe was this weekend and I ran in it with my dad and what seemed like a million other’s!  This was my first race and I loved it!  It was early early but totally worth it!  Nothing like the feeling of accomplishment while everyone else is sleeping in on a Saturday 😉 (that’s me usually).

I’ve been loving the “off the shoulder” trend.  This top is super comfy and can’t go wrong with black.  You can wear with jeans and heels or booties to dress it up or dress it down like I did with some cut off shorts and sandals.  I also love this shirt b/c being out here in the desert, light weight and simple is the key to comfort and staying cool!

These white cut off shorts have been a go to.  I wear them ALL the time.  Love the fit of Black Orchid Denim (linked a similar pair above).  Can’t go wrong with cut offs/distressed denim!

Last but not least, this Chloe cross body was on my list for more than a year now and finally splurged a few months ago.  I couldn’t resist!  SO in love with grey and the cute saddle bag/boho style.

As alway’s, thanks for following along and have a splendid week!  😛

Oh!  It feels so great to be back on the blog!  🙂 First off, I want to start by thanking SHOLDIT for this awesome multi-wear/multi-tasking scarf!  What makes these scarves unique is the side zipper that fits all your favorite necessities and allows you to be hands free!  What a smart concept right?  I mean, how convenient for when you’re on the go, doing outdoor activities, at a sporting event, or simply for a fashion statement!  I’m in love.  As far as the outfit, I love a good loose fitting tee and yoga pants!  Seriously my go to on the weekends.

As alway’s, thanks for following along!  Have a great week!

Stuck in Summer

Kate Spade Dress// J.Crew Slides similar here// Crossbody// Aviators

OH how it feels good to be back on the blog!  I’ve been MIA for too long!  I’m also super late on posting these pics as they were taken earlier this summer.  I recently moved to my happy place… Arizona, so things have been a little crazy lately getting situated and back into a routine, etc.  Since moving to Arizona, it’s been HOT.  It’s finally starting to get into the 80’s and 90’s which is a major relief compared to the 100+ degree weather we had all summer long.  Although I’m late with this post, I still feel like this outfit applies out in this desert heat.  I will confess it’s hard seeing all the fall boots, sweaters and jackets everyone is wearing right now though.   There are definitely days I just want to wear those cozy fall outfits, but I know I will love the mild temps here in the winter and no SNOW!   I’ll get my fix when I”m back for the holidays I’m sure. 😉  Anyway’s I practically lived in dresses and still live in dresses here.  They are super easy to just throw on.  I like this casual one – you can easily dress it up or dress it down while still looking effortlessly chic – and who doesn’t love stripes?!  🙂

For fall in the desert, I plan on mixing in little fall touches here and there, such as shorts with long sleeved shirts in lighter materials, dresses with booties, etc. and of course lots and lots of neutrals … grey, tan, taupe, black and white <3.

As always, thanks for reading!
